The BLM-5100 Series is a two-piece stadium seat available in a versatile lineup, including cushioned, padded, low-back, and high-back variations.

Contoured backrest ergonomically supports the spectator’s body

The backrest features a gentle curve that supports the user’s body, allowing spectators to lean back and enjoy events comfortably over extended periods.
The two-piece design optimizes aisle space as the seat automatically folds up when unoccupied. Furthermore, because the folded seat depth does not restrict aisle dimensions, it allows for a wider, more comfortable seating surface. Enhancing convenience both when sitting and when passing along the row, this series contributes to the overall appeal of the facility.

Enhanced safety and simplified maintenance

The upper corners of the backrest are specially contoured to provide a convenient handhold for spectators ascending or descending the stairs, helping to prevent accidental slips and falls.
As an optional feature, the seat can be equipped with the same gentle seat tip-up mechanism standard in theater and auditorium seating. The seat cushion retracts smoothly and quietly when the spectator stands, making it ideal for venues requiring a quiet atmosphere while also preventing sudden, forceful return of the seat.
Padded back and seat covers are easily replaceable if soiled. Designed with tamper-resistant mechanisms, the pads can only be removed by authorized maintenance staff familiar with the structure.

Standard armrests define personal space for each spectator

Armrests—essential for establishing clear boundaries between adjacent seats—come standard with this series. Space beneath the armrest is intentionally left open, allowing seated guests to move their legs inward when others pass along the row. This provides ample freedom to move their knees and feet comfortably.

Extensive options and variations

The seating can be configured with or without back and seat cushions or pads. Additionally, high-back and low-back models can be combined flexibly to match floor levels and tier heights. In areas with steep riser heights, selecting high-back models prevents the seated spectator’s upper body from interfering with the knees of guests in the row behind.
A comprehensive range of optional accessories is also available, including cup holders and number plates.

Characteristics of the BLM Series

The BLM (Blow Molding) Series utilizes high-density polyethylene shaped through advanced blow molding techniques. The resulting double-shell hollow structure delivers both structural strength and ergonomic comfort. Manufactured using a process renowned for its exceptional impact resistance among plastic molding methods, these seats are highly resistant to cracking even when struck by flying baseballs. Notably, they offer superior low-temperature impact resilience compared to the polypropylene (PP) injection-molded seats widely used in Europe.

In addition to excellent heat and water resistance, HDPE offers high resistance to chemicals and oils, making it an ideal material for stadium seating prone to food and beverage spills. To prevent fading and degradation caused by outdoor exposure, UV absorbers are integrated directly into the resin.
