What does “KC” in the catalog mean?

“KC” indicates the metal coating color. Codes such as KC and KF refer to fabric and wood color numbers.

What is “BLM”?

BLM stands for “Blow Molding.” BLM seats are made from high-density polyethylene molded through a blow molding process. Compared to other hard plastics, this material offers superior impact resistance and is less likely to crack when hit by objects such as baseballs. It also outperforms commonly used polypropylene seating (especially in Europe) in cold-weather impact resistance. Additionally, the double-shell (hollow) structure provides moderate cushioning. BLM is also highly resistant to heat, water, chemicals, and oils, making it ideal for stadiums where beverages like cola or juice may be spilled. Thanks to UV absorbers added to the resin, it offers excellent weather resistance, with reduced fading and slower material degradation, making it suitable for outdoor use.

What is “FRP”?

FRP stands for “Fiber Reinforced Plastics,” a material made by reinforcing plastic with fibers such as glass. While maintaining the lightweight nature of plastic, it provides added strength and durability. Its glass fiber reinforcement ensures lasting strength even with prolonged use. FRP retains its color and gloss even when exposed to rain and is also rust- and rot-resistant. However, recycling is more difficult than with some other materials.

Retractable Seating System

How long does it take to deploy and retract a Fully Automatic Retractable Seating System?

For a system with 600 seats, deployment or retraction takes only four minutes at the press of a remote-control button.

In the semi-automatic retractable seating, which movements are electric and which are manual?

The deployment and retraction of the seating unit itself are electric (operated using a remote switch). However, the folding and raising of the individual seats mounted on the unit are manual.

Can the manual retractable seating be installed at an angle, such as 45 degrees?

For movable types, the unit can be positioned at any desired angle or location.
However, for wall attached or recessed types, the direction of extension is fixed and cannot be angled.

What types of chairs can be installed on a Retractable Seating System?

Stage Systems

Can the size be customized?

Each product has its own standard dimensions, but for the DS-100 (Wall Storage Stage), customized sizes can be set according to building specifications. Please contact us for more details.

Can heavy items like pianos be placed on the stage?

Please check both the weight of the piano and the load capacity of the stage series under consideration. When placing a piano, we recommend using a base to distribute the weight.
Also, be aware that piano casters may leave marks on the stage floor when moved.

Is it safe to dance or play on the stage?

For use by small children or barefoot users, we recommend types without visible seams on the floor surface, such as the DS-100 (electric) or FS-800 (manual) wall-storable stages.

How long does it take to operate the electric type?

Depending on size, the operating speed is approximately 1 meter per minute.
For example, a stage of W6000 × D4000 × H600 mm takes about 4 minutes to deploy.

Can I see the actual product?

How long is the production lead time?

It varies by product, but typically takes around 3 to 4 months.

How long does the installation work take?

Installation time depends on the product, but usually takes about 4 to 7 days.

Can it be installed in existing facilities?

Is regular maintenance necessary?

Even if not frequently used, we recommend operating the unit periodically.

What kinds of facilities use your stage systems?

Our stages are widely used in schools, kindergartens and nurseries, community centers, gymnasiums and arenas, senior facilities, and more.

Is it only operable by remote control?

The standard setup uses a wireless remote control, but it can also be operated using a wall-mounted control panel.

How long does it take to deploy or store the curtain?

This depends on the product type, but the operation speed is approximately 5 to 7 meters per minute. For the Single Type (FOLD-UP), it takes about 2 minutes to move a curtain with a height of 10 meters.

How heavy is the curtain?

It depends on the type and size. For example, a Single Type (FOLD-UP) curtain measuring W20 m × H10 m weighs approximately 500 kg.
The load applied to the building is approximately 50–60 kg per mounting point.

How long is the production lead time?

It varies depending on the type and season, but the average production time is 4 to 6 months.

How long does installation take?

It depends on the size and number of units, but installation generally takes about one week.

Can it be installed in existing facilities?

Yes. Depending on the ceiling’s shape and structure, it may be necessary to design and install structural hardware. After on-site inspection, our sales staff will discuss any necessary additional construction work with you.

How is maintenance of the drive unit performed?

If there is a maintenance deck (catwalk) near the upper mounting area, access to the drive unit is easy.
If no catwalk is available, work will be carried out using a rolling tower (temporary scaffold).

Capsule Beds

How much does one unit cost?

The price varies depending on the installation site and quantity.

What is the advantage of using capsule beds in a nap room compared to regular beds?

Capsule beds offer private, enclosed spaces, which are highly valued for ensuring privacy. They help block out noise, visual distractions, and odors, allowing users to rest comfortably. Each unit comes standard with LED lighting, a ventilation fan, digital clock, and power outlet. An optional TV can also be installed. Capsule beds contribute to improving and upgrading workplace environments.

Are noises from adjacent capsules noticeable?

Our capsule beds are designed with sound-insulating panels. You can experience their actual sound insulation performance in our showroom in Japan.

What is the minimum ceiling height required for installation?

A ceiling height of at least 2400 mm (2.4 m) is required.

How much does a capsule bed weigh?

Each unit weighs approximately 140 kg, and about 280 kg for a bunk unit (upper and lower combined). If used by two people weighing 80 kg each, the total load on a 2 m² area is about 440 kg (i.e. 220 kg per 1 m²).

Can capsule beds be installed on double floors or OA floors?

Yes, as long as the floor structure can support the weight.

Can they be anchored to the floor?

Yes. On concrete floors, the units are generally anchored. For wooden or steel floors, special screws are used. Anchoring helps prevent tipping or shifting during earthquakes.

Can fire safety equipment be installed inside the capsule?

Yes, both automatic fire alarms and sprinkler systems can be installed.

How long does installation take?

Installation capacity is about 6-8 units per day, depending on the layout and number of units.

Can they be installed anywhere?

Yes, as long as there is sufficient space and access for assembly.
(Capsule dimensions: W = 1200 mm, L = 2400 mm, H = 2400 mm)

Is there noise during installation?

There will be some vibration noise during anchor installation on the first day, but other work will involve only moderate drilling sounds.

Can the units be relocated after installation?

Yes. Since they are panel-assembled, they can be disassembled and reinstalled elsewhere.

Are environmentally friendly materials used?

Yes. All materials used are recyclable.

Is special bedding required?

Any standard-size bedding can be used.
Special fire-retardant mattresses and pads are available as options.

Are the beds delivered fully assembled?

No. Assembly and installation are carried out on-site.

How much electricity is required?

Each unit consumes approximately 35 watts.

Can only the upper or lower bed be installed separately?

Yes, but since all components would need to be custom-made, the cost may be the same or even higher than for a full two-bed set.

What are the benefits of installing capsule beds in hotels?

The biggest advantage is space efficiency—approximately six times greater floor efficiency than a typical business hotel.
