Project Description

In January 2016, the renovation of the TOKYO DOME began in preparation for its 80th anniversary, which was celebrated in December of the same year. This is the first major renovation since the TOKYO DOME opened in 1988.
The project, scheduled to run for approximately three years, was spearheaded by the renovation of seats for approximately 40,000 people.
Kotobuki Seating delivered general infield seats, Diamond Box and Champions Seats (the name used for Giants games).
The backrest and seat surfaces of the general seats are padded with a knit. The design of the backrest increases the legroom by approximately 1.5 times. The backrest has been raised to provide greater back support during seating, and the body is firmly supported for improved seating comfort.
Diamond Box and Champions Seats were set up above the back of the back nets in the first-floor stands. Diamond Box, which is close to the players and offers a panoramic view of the entire dome, has been used as a press box since its opening. Diamond Box is placed in the center of the area, with Champions Seats in front and on both sides. Both are luxuriously upholstered in black leather cloth, with orange stitching that adds a subtle touch of color.
Each seat is also equipped with a power outlet. Since the devices can be recharged, there is no need to worry about running out of battery power when taking pictures.
A supreme environment has been created for maximum enjoyment of baseball, live music and other events.
