Universal design that allows people to give way to each other

This is a standard theater/hall chair with a leg shape that takes into consideration people passing in front of those already seated.

By allowing seated persons to tuck their legs into the space under the armrest of the chairs, they can easily give way to others passing by in front of them. The aisles between each row of seats, which are often congested before the doors open, are designed to allow people to pass by in a smart manner.

Comfortable seating thanks to a back and seat shape based on ergonomic design principles

This chair features a curved three-dimensional backrest designed to fit the human body when seated. The uniquely designed backrest and the seat cushion gently cradle the body when seated, creating a pleasant sitting experience.

The seat is made of a strong molded urethane that does not lose shape, and uses metal waveform springs with excellent durability that evenly spread weight. This form is the result of our years of experience and engineering skill at reducing burden on the body. The seat is equipped with a "Gentle seat tip-up mechanism" so that when the seated person stands, it slowly returns to its original upright position without generating vibrations or thumps, keeping the hall quiet. The underside of the seat is natural wood.

The sturdy die-cast aluminum of the legs engenders a solemn atmosphere, but the natural wood on the underside brings it into balance.

Seats can be designed freely by combining natural wood and upholstery in the material and color of your choice

The natural wood used for the chairs can be either quarter-sawn oak or beech wood, and seven different paint colors are available, ranging from dark to light tones.

The cushions can be upholstered in a choice of four different textiles: KW (30% wool and 70% acrylic) and KF (100% acrylic) featuring abrasion-resistant flat weave upholstery, KSF featuring a breathable and durable mesh material, and KE made with 100% polyester. Each upholstery color can be selected from a wide variety of color samples.

For 1st and 2nd floor seating

Low-back chairs are mainly for first-floor seating, while high-back chairs are mainly for seating on the second floor and above. The backrest is set 100 mm higher than the low-back type used for the first floor seats so that audience members can comfortably sit up straight when watching the stage from the sloped seating area. This high backrest also serves as a rail to prevent falls on the stairs.

Seats for auditoriums and conference/training rooms can be equipped with folding tablets for writing notes

For halls where writing is required, such as school auditoriums for large classes, a seat type with a folding tablet can be selected. The folding tablet automatically stows itself when it is folded down to a certain position. The "anti-panic mechanism" allows for quick and safe passage in the event of an emergency evacuation. It can be flipped up with light force and stowed quietly, so that the tranquility of the hall can be maintained.
