PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank
PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank
Feb. 17,2025
Sports and Entertainment Facility
Outdoor Stadium
Project Description
The most realistic stadium in Japan, close to the pitch
PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank is at the center of Nagasaki Stadium City, a large-scale complex built by JAPANET HOLDINGS.
The stadium was designed to provide an unconventional spectator experience. Its hospitality features include drink holders in every seat and two large screens on opposite sides of the stadium, which allow easy viewing from any seat. All seats are covered by a roof, so even in bad weather, you can comfortably watch the games without worrying about getting wet in the rain.
It is also the new home stadium of V-Varen Nagasaki, a soccer club based in Nagasaki Prefecture. It is attracting attention as a revolutionary stadium where spectators can enjoy watching games from all directions, with the shortest distance to the pitch in Japan at only 5 meters.
The Paragon Series of Premium Seating, Introduced for the First Time in a Stadium
Kotobuki Seating was selected as a seat manufacturer that specializes in creating safe, secure, and comfortable environments for spectators based on the company's abundant experience in delivering seats to sports entertainment facilities, its diverse product lineup for both general and VIP seating, and its thorough maintenance system for emergencies.
The Paragon 755 premium stadium seats, used for VIP and player seating, feature a unique design and rich cushioning. High-quality low-resilience urethane foam and rich vinyl leather provide supple and comfortable seating. In addition, the spacious 600 mm seat width and resilient matte texture create a premium feel.
The backrests are wide enough, and both sides are equipped with cushioned armrests and drink holders, offering a luxurious design fit for VIP seating.
The Paragon 755 has been used in premium seating in movie theaters around the world, but this is the first time it has been used in a stadium in Japan. These seats help to create a premium experience that can only be experienced at PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank.
The Players' Suite seats, also featuring the Paragon 755, are located right next to the players' benches. A major feature of these seats is that you can enjoy the game from the same seat and perspective as the players. You can directly sense the movements of the bench, creating an immersive viewing experience.
General Seating with Multiple Tiers
General seating is divided into detailed tiers based on seat type, with different seat features depending on the area.
The
BLM-8000 series
was introduced for general seats, sky seats, and press seats. When unoccupied, the seats have a depth of 250 mm, making them extremely compact. The wider aisle space allows for smooth movement through the seating area.
At the same time, the backrest and the seat are designed to be wide enough to fit the spectator's body when seated. The large, rounded shape wraps around the body and keeps the user comfortable when seated.
Outdoor stadiums can be quite cold depending on the season, but the BLM-8000 series, made of blow-molded high-density polyethylene with excellent impact characteristics at low temperatures, ensures a high level of safety.
In addition, depending on the area, different seats are installed, some of which include armrests, backrests, padded seating, and side tables to differentiate seating areas.
High-grade seating used for special and distinguished guests
In the general area, approximately 2,000 high-grade
AllWe stadium seats
have been installed.
The AllWe series is an all-weather stadium seat with cushions and is a popular product used in many VIP seats, special seats, and seats for distinguished guests.
The ergonomically designed three-dimensional backrest supports the body firmly, reducing fatigue even after long hours of spectating. Urethane in both the backrest and seat provides comfort even during extended events.
Seat Color Gradient from Navy to Aqua
The seats feature a vibrant gradient design transitioning from navy to blue to aqua.
When viewed from above, the stadium's layout features the words "PEACE" and "WELCOME," floating in light blue on a dark blue background. This playful touch will be enjoyed by users of Japan's first zip line, which allows visitors to glide above the stadium.
Facility Overview
PEACE STADIUM Connected by SoftBank is the centerpiece of Nagasaki Stadium City, a facility complex featuring the HAPPINESS ARENA for professional basketball club, Nagasaki Velca and music events and the STADIUM CITY SOUTH for shopping and hot springs. In addition, Japan’s first stadium-view hotel is being built in the City, providing an unparalleled integrated experience, including a view of the stadium from the guest rooms.
JAPANET HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. is a company from Nagasaki, Japan. Its policy is "Discovering, Polishing, and Communicating" good products. As its second pillar, the company is engaged in sports and regional revitalization business, as well as the mail-order business.
In addition, the decision to create our own stadium stemmed from being selected as the developer for the site utilization project following the reorganization of the Saiwaicho Plant of the Nagasaki Shipyard & Machinery Works of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
The construction of a groundbreaking stadium in the heart of Nagasaki is making a significant contribution to the promotion and revitalization of the region's attractions.
