The Creative Studio within the Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater hitaru allows for the arrangement of seating for each performance, with seating for up to 400 people. Dance, theatrical, and other performances are planned.
Retractable Seating and Stacking Chairs were used for seating solutions.
The Partial opening system was used for Retractable Seating, where single rows of seating can be expanded open for use. This means that just the first 3 or 6 rows of seating can be opened, allowing the number of seats to be adjusted. Additionally, the rows of seating are staggered to allow for easier viewing, a feature which is rare in Retractable Seating.
The Stacking Chair FC-310 series is unique for its plush, two-layer cushioning. The seat cushion features a core which combines urethane foam and a resin fiber core to provide comfort with just the right amount of spring. Despite its slim appearance, the cushioning allows users to sit comfortably, with no feeling of a hard under layer. The resin fiber core allows for excellent air ventilation, and creates a comfortable environment for users, even during longer performances.
