Project Description

*The name was changed to “VANTELINDOME NAGOYA” on January 1, 2021. This article retains the designation used at the time the it was published.

NAGOYA DOME, home ground of the Chunichi Dragons. The seating at NAGOYA DOME continues to evolve in response to the increasing entertainment value of sports and the diversification of spectators in recent years. Following the Executive Area for the 2013 season, a series of new seats were being created for the 2016 season.

The most notable feature is the new field seats in the foul zone. These seats are full of power and excitement, allowing spectators to watch the games from the same vantage point as the players. The seats feature wooden armrests and leather upholstery for a luxurious finish. The seats are lavishly spaced far apart and are low in height, allowing spectators to sit comfortably and stretch out their legs. You can watch the matches as if you were sitting in a movie theater seat.

Variety Terrace Seats, located behind the back nets, are available in three types: three-, four-, and five-person seats. Each seat is furnished with a table, allowing spectators to enjoy watching the games in a private space. Variety 4 is attractive in that the armrests can be stored away, making it as comfortable as a sofa, even with small children.

Doala Terrace Seats on the 3rd-base side of the infield  also have tables, as do the Variety Terrace Seats. Messages from and illustrations of Doala, the team mascot, are painted here and there around the seats, being popular among fans. There are four types of seats, A to D. All types are suitable for groups of up to four people.

“Dera” in Deraraku Pair Seats is an abbreviation of “doerai ” in the Nagoya dialect. The space is designed to allow for a comfortable seating area around a table, using the space of three conventional seats. The seats became popular not only with couples and friends, but also with seniors because of the cushioned seating.

The wide variety of seating types makes NAGOYA DOME a place you will want to visit again and again. This is a facility where you can enjoy “watching” and wondering which seat you will be seated in next.
