A new cinema complex 'Aeon Cinema Theatus Shinsaibashi' opened in Shinsaibashi

Shinsaibashi is one of Osaka's most popular shopping districts. Aeon Cinema Theatus Shinsaibashi opened on the 12th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, located in a corner and housing a number of luxury boutiques and departmental stores.
It is a cinema complex with seven screens, including one general screen, and one luxurious 'Grand Theatre'!

Screens 1 to 6 have three types of seats

Each of screens 1 to 6 has three types of seats. Comfort seats are installed in the front row, which is often avoided due to its proximity to the screen. Comfortable 'Eva' seats have been installed in the front row. You can literally lie down and watch the movie. It is an effort to make your movie watching experience enjoyable even from the front row. 'Eva' is a product designed by Ferco Seating Systems (Ferco), a group company of Kotobuki Seating. These seats are specially designed like reclining beds. You can take off your shoes and you can lie down in them like a reclining bed. The gentle S-shaped curve is designed to snuggle up to you from your head to feet. EVA makes your movie watching experience enjoyable, even from the front row!

The last rows have high-grade seats. These are Ferco's sofa-type seats 'Premium Milano Zero Wall'. The thickly cushioned backrest and seat gently cuddle up to you. You can adjust the footrest to a desired position according to your comfort by operating the buttons given on the armrest.

And for general seats, Kotobuki Seating's long-selling CN-55 seats are installed. The seats are equipped with built-in corrugated springs making long-duration sitting comfortable, and the three-dimensional curved surface cushion that fits the upper body giving you a relaxed watching experience.

The 'Grand Theater' with luxury seats & luxury space

The Grand Theater gives you the most enjoyable movie watching experience. It has only nine seats. A compact theater like a home theater, the interior is luxuriously decorated creating a luxurious space reminiscent of a European theater.
Ferco's 'Premium Verona Dual Motor' seats are installed in this special theater. This is a cinema hall seat that boasts the highest level of seating comfort across the entire Ferco lineup.
The thick cushion gives you a relaxed sitting experience as if you were relaxing on your sofa at home. The backrest can be reclined, and the seat comes with a footrest. You can freely adjust the backrest and the footrest to feel relaxed when watching the movie.

In addition to a cup holder, a table, and a small lamp, a USB connector is provided to charge your smartphone or other devices while you watch the movie.

Creating a safe and secure environment to enjoy movies

All the seats at Theatus Shinsaibashi are equipped with partitions to keep the flying droplets away. You can enjoy the movie without any disturbance from your neighboring seats. Some of the seats have movable partitions, which you can remove if you want especially when you are with your friends or someone special.
All seats are one-sitter. Also, each seat has its own armrests on both sides. You can rest your elbows without being bothered by the person sitting next to you. It also blocks vibrations from the neighboring seats, further enhancing your watching experience.

Aeon Cinema Theatus Shinsaibashi' is the present-day cinema complex that is in line with the current world trend. Looking at COVID-19 and beyond that, 'Aeon Cinema Theatus Shinsaibashi' embodies a new style of movie-watching.

Facility Overview

Aeon Cinema Theatus Shinsaibashi opened in March 2021 on the 12th floor of the shopping mall 'Shinsaibashi PARCO' directly connected to Shinsaibashi Station. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the opening was delayed by three months from the original schedule. 'In fact, because not many would want to go to a movie hall to watch a movie in the current pandemic situation, creating a safe and secure environment for watching movies' was the basic philosophy behind equipping each seat with a partition to keep the flying droplets away. The seats and other facilities in the theater are treated with 'Health Bright', an antibacterial and antiviral treatment as an anti-pestilence measure.

In addition to the usual six screens, Aeon Cinema now has 'Grand Theater', the top-most grade hall within its facility. The Aeon Cinema complex offers a safe and secure viewing experience.
