Kumamoto Piccadilly, Japan's most advanced and powerful cinema complex

The "Kumamoto Piccadilly" opened in April 2021 as the first Shochiku multiplex theater in Kyushu, introducing Japan's first "three-screen live screen" screening system in some of its theaters. The theater is decorated in a monotone color scheme of "pure white," the image color of the Piccadilly brand, and "matte black," which symbolizes Kumamoto Castle, and the calm seats accentuate the screens facing each other.

Front-row reclining seats for a special seat experience

The seats used in the front row are the "Premium Opus Glide," which is used as VIP seats in many movie theaters in Japan and has received high acclaim. It is a sofa-type premium seat provided by Ferco Seating Systems, a group company of Kotobuki Seating.

The seats are equipped with a reclining function that allows you to lie back and enjoy the best visual experience in the front row, which used to be avoided due to its proximity to the screen. In addition, the seat has a double cushioned structure from the headrest, backrest, seat, and knees to provide a comfortable and enveloping sitting experience. The armrests are equipped with tables for food and small items, and cup holders are placed at each seat for you to relax and enjoy.

General seats with both stylish appearance and functionality

For the general seating from the second row onward, the long-selling CN-55 model, which incorporates Kotobuki Seating's expertise in seating comfort, has been customized and installed for the Shochiku Multiplex Theaters. The high, sleek and stylish backrest also serves as a device to hide the head of the person sitting in front of you, creating a space where you can easily immerse yourself in the movie.
The upholstery of the seat is a black base with colorful dots woven into it, creating a gorgeous look while blending in with the darkness. In addition, to make it easy to find your seat in the darkened aisle after the screening, a round patch with conspicuous white numbers is sewn on the front side of the seat. In addition, all seats are equipped with luggage hooks on the back of the seat, making them highly functional.

In Theater 1, where all seats are in a circular arc, each seat has its own armrest. You can use both elbows and not feel the vibration.

It is the first cinema in Kyushu to introduce "Cinema Smart Order", which allows customers to easily order items from their smartphones or self-ordering machines, and a drink bar, offering a new movie experience and viewing style.
