nine hours Narita Airport

Capsule Hotel / Nap Room

Project Description

The capsule hotel nine hours Narita Airport opened in July 2014 at Narita Airport Terminal 2. The hotel name, nine hours, is derived from the lodging concept of adding one hour for resting and another hour for freshening up before and after a seven-hour sleep. The time lodgers spend in a hotel for business use is nine to ten hours. This hotel is equipped to help make guests' journeys as pleasant as possible by providing a restful, refreshing stop-gap. The hotel allows travellers to check in 24 hours a day, so can be used not only for overnight stays but also for daytime use. It also anticipates kinds of hotel usage that are unique to airports; such as staying over the night before to catch an early-morning flight, to have a short nap or simply to take a shower while waiting for a transfer.
