Located in Michigan State, U.S.A., Interkal LLC is a member of the Kotobuki group of companies, providing a base for manufacture and sales, while also acting through our agent to provide removable chair stands (rollback stands) and sports seats for outdoor spectators throughout the country. Calvin College, which installed our rollback stands supplied through Interkal LCC, is a private Christian college founded in 1876; based in Michigan State and is one of the largest schools in North America. In February 2009 it opened the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex, a large-scale, multi-purpose sports facility. Set in extensive grounds, it combines indoor and outdoor stadiums, swimming pool, tennis courts, etc., with a health center, providing students, staff and teachers with a comprehensive approach to health and sports. Interkal installed Kotobuki bench-type and backrest-type rollback stands, etc., a total of 4,583 seats altogether, in the Van Noord Arena, an indoor stadium that comprises part of the complex and is used for a variety of games and events. The use of removable chair stands makes it possible to adjust the seating to provide a suitable space for each particular event to be held. For instance, in the case of a basketball match, the seating can be moved up to the edges of the court, allowing spectators to enjoy the thrill of the game at close quarters. Also, by employing three types of seat, the spectators are able to select where to sit according to the way in which they wish to view the game. With numerous indoor sports teams, whose numbers continue to increase annually, the Van Noord Arena has become an indispensable facility for the college. It is used not only for regular training but also for major sports events.
