The main structure is made of aluminum, which is suitable for outdoor use. The bench is made of blow molded (BLM) high-density polyethylene, which is resistant to impact from balls and other objects. The color does not fade due to ultraviolet rays, and it is resistant to rain. These benches can be used outdoors without any problem. For this reason, this series is often used at professional sports venues.

What is 'high-density polyethylene' and 'blow molding'?

BLM (Blow Molding) is high-density polyethylene molded into a chair by a method called blow molding. Blow-molded chairs have a hollow structure called a double shell, which ensures strength and comfort. This molding method ensures excellent impact resistance properties among general plastic products, making it extremely resistant to cracking even when hit by a baseball. In particular, it has superior impact properties at low temperatures compared to polypropylene (PP) injection molding chairs commonly used in Europe.

In addition to being heat and water resistant, it is also chemical and oil resistant, making it an ideal material for stadium chairs where staining by spilled drinks is very common. When used outdoors, a UV absorber can be added to the resin to slow down fading and deterioration of the material.
