With a backrest lower than that of the BLM-1500 Series, this seat is ideal for providing stable seating support within tight spatial constraints. One of its standout features is its ability to maximize seating capacity, maintaining the same number of seats as backless models.
As a long-selling Kotobuki Seating product with a track record of more than two decades, this series is widely deployed in indoor and outdoor sports facilities across Japan—from prominent national baseball stadiums and soccer arenas to regional sports centers and gymnasiums.
The rounded silhouette gently cradles the user's hips for a comfortable fit. Featuring a unified design language with the BLM-1500 and BLM-0500 Series, it can be seamlessly combined with backless models to maintain a cohesive visual identity throughout the venue.

Durable blow-molded construction with rainwater drainage design

Molded from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)—offering superior weather resistance and impact resistance compared to Polypropylene (PP)—the double-shell hollow structure provides a comfortable, responsive seating experience. Its outstanding durability ensures minimal maintenance throughout its approximately ten-year service life (based on in-house performance records). To prevent water from accumulating during rain, the seat features drainage channels integrated along the backrest contours. These also serve as a stylish design accent, giving the seat a sleek, sporty look. Optional loop-style armrests and armrest-integrated cup holders are also available.

Characteristics of the BLM Series

The BLM (Blow Molding) Series utilizes high-density polyethylene shaped through advanced blow molding techniques. The resulting double-shell hollow structure delivers both structural strength and ergonomic comfort. Manufactured using a process renowned for its exceptional impact resistance among plastic molding methods, these seats are highly resistant to cracking even when struck by flying baseballs. Notably, they offer superior low-temperature impact resilience compared to the polypropylene (PP) injection-molded seats widely used in Europe.

In addition to excellent heat and water resistance, HDPE offers high resistance to chemicals and oils, making it an ideal material for stadium seating prone to food and beverage spills. To prevent fading and degradation caused by outdoor exposure, UV absorbers are integrated directly into the resin.
