1. Ferco Seating Systems Ltd.

Ferco Seating Systems Ltd. was established in 1983 by a British national named Tim Barr (the current C.E.O.). It specializes in the production of public furniture, providing seating for numerous theaters, cinemas, stadiums, sporting arenas and educational institutions, such as universities etc., which is highly regarded for both function and innovative designs.
In particular, it has an excellent delivery record in the stadium seating field, having provided the seats used in the Maracanã Stadium, site of the opening and closing ceremonies of this year’s ‘Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games’ and producing many other examples of seating with high design value. It is also well known for its work in the cinema seating field, which accounts for 60% of its sales, claiming a large share of the market with its electric-powered reclining seating that is becoming mainstream in the West now.
In September 2016, Ferco Seating Systems merged with the Kotobuki Seating Group, but will retain its own brand name, 150 staff members, production facilities, etc. In the future it will work as a member of the Kotobuki Seating Group to develop seating technology and manufacture new products.
