The basic concept of universal design (UD) is to make (design) objects aiming for it being possible for even more people to use them by taking into account differences in age, gender and physical characteristics. Facilitating accessibility for people who have difficulty moving freely is currently considered one form of UD. The UD design of KOTOBUKI SEATING is embodied through verification repeated many times based on scientific data on comfort. The superiority of the seats of KOTOBUKI SEATING is proven in the Body Pressure Distribution Data Diagram on the below. As shown in the body pressure distribution, pressure is distributed relatively evenly centered around ischium in the seat. We can see that pressure is received across the entire rear surface on the back. This shows that there is a strong feeling of fit. This body pressure distribution measurement reveals that pressure is received as though enveloping the entire bottom. Accordingly, it does not hurt your bottom even if you sit for a long time and the tip of the seat does not cause a feeling of pressure on the back of your thighs.
