Kotobuki Seating utilizes social media to achieve good communication with our customers by providing a variety of contents including information regarding our activities and products as well as information regarding events held by the customers of our products. In regards to our use of social media the company has set the following Social Media Policy (hereafter “Policy”). This Policy may be changed at any time without prior notice.

Utilized Social Media

The company uses the following social media accounts (hereafter “Accounts”).

Conduct Guidelines

All company employees shall observe the laws, ordinances, social media terms of use, and this Policy and take responsibility to act as a sensible member of society.

  • Always be aware that the information provided over social media can be accessed by an unspecified large number of people.
  • Be aware of the possibility, and the responsibility generated thereby, that information can be shared by links, shares, and forwards and that once information has been posted, it cannot be completely deleted.
  • Understand that personal postings can affect the reputation of the company.
  • Recognized that posted information can have a large impact on the company.
  • Recognize that the information regarding operations and products and the photographs of facilities using our products belong to the company and cannot be handled as personal information.
  • Promise to obey the prescribed laws and ordinances; not to infringe on copyrights, trademarks, and portrait rights; not to defame a third party through slander; and not to perform acts that would infringe on any other rights.

Handling of Posted Comments, etc.

The company does not respond to all private messages, including comments regarding the Accounts and direct mail. To contact the company, please use the “Inquiries” function.

  • The company strives to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of the posted information but cannot completely guaranty it.
  • The information posted to the Accounts is current at the time of posting and may later be corrected or changed.
  • Published information, including the comments and images posted to the Accounts (including accompanying processing, extracts, reproduction, publication, and translation, etc.), may be referenced by the Accounts and the company’s corporate site free of charge without notifying the poster.
  • The company bears absolutely no responsibility for comments posted by users.
  • The company shall be held in no way responsible for any damages suffered by a user or a third party as a result of the user using or trusting the Accounts or not being able to use the accounts.

Prohibited Items

Posts to which any of the following items apply or might apply may be deleted without prior notice to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts.

  • Contents that break or could break laws or ordinances.
  • Contents the breach the Terms of Use of the social media Accounts.
  • Contents that harm reputation or credibility by slandering a specific person, company, country, or region.
  • Contents for which the accuracy cannot be confirmed, such as rumors, hearsay, and misinformation.
  • Contents that counter public order and morals or contents that provide information that counters public order and morals.
  • Inappropriate contents including indecent expressions.
  • Contents that discriminate against or encourage discrimination against human rights, ideas, beliefs, etc.
  • Contents for election campaigns, political activities, religious activities, or similar activities.
  • Contents for the purpose of advertising, promoting, enticing, sales activities, or other purposes for profit not approved by the company.
  • Contents that infringe on or could infringe on the intellectual property rights of a third party, such as copyrights, trademark rights, or portrait rights.
  • Contents related to personal privacy, such as the specifying, disclosing, or leaking of personal information without the approval of the individual.
  • Contents that are clearly mischievous or have no linguistic meaning (meaningless character strings, spam postings, etc.).
  • Fraudulent or untruthful contents, such as masquerading as another person, or contents that are erroneous.
  • Contents that include harmful programming, etc.
  • Many continuous postings over a short period of time by the same user.
  • Contents that include the URL of websites, etc., including contents to which the above applies.
  • Other contents deemed inappropriate by the company for the operation of the Accounts.
