The 'Axis' theater stacking chair is especially developed for seating in small theaters, small halls, studios, and other smaller auditoriums.
Seating in small theatres and halls where plays are performed requires chairs that allow people to sit quietly and comfortably for about two hours.
The seat cushion of the 'Axis' stacking chair has a voluminous two-layer structure. We have created a cushion with moderate bounce and no sag, by combining urethane foam and a resin fiber core.
The cushioning greatly exceeds the comfort one would expect from its thin appearance, and its breathability offers enjoyable seating even after long periods of use.
Sleek armrests separate the seats so you can fully enjoy the show without any disturbance. Double-arm and single-arm types are available.
The ganging parts at the ends of the legs can be used to connect chairs. This allows for a smart and smooth setup in small theaters and small halls where the seating layout needs to be changed for production purposes.
The ability to stack up to six chairs on a flat surface and store them in a space-efficient manner is also a significant benefit for small theatres with limited space. A special cart is also available for easily tidying up and transporting the chairs.
Building on the positive feedback for the comfortable seat, we have created a chair with casters and a memo pad designed specifically for school classrooms. Its legs are not loop legs, but a 4-point grounding type.
Because both the backrest and the seat are upholstered, a different atmosphere than that of resin stacking chairs can be created by selecting upholstery that matches the space and main purpose. These stacking chairs will be useful not only in small theaters and halls, but also in schools, offices, and a variety of other settings. It is also possible to create a sense of unity in a space by matching the upholstery with that of fixed theater chairs.
*Designed with the strength of a stacking chair. It is not strong enough to be used as a fixed chair adhered to the floor.
*FC-312 cannot be ganged with chairs of the same type, because elbows interfere with each other. When ganging chairs with elbows, using FC-311 (FC-312 only for a single section) is recommended.
