Interkal's storied history began in Fort Dodge, Iowa with the retractable bleacher design of the Horn Brothers Company in 1938. In the 1950s Brunswick Company purchased the Horn Brothers business and moved it to Michigan, where Interkal is still manufactured today.
Interkal became part of the Kotobuki Seating family in 1987. Since then Interkal has grown to be a leading supplier of retractable platforms and fixed seating at sporting venues all over the world. With a focus on product development, Interkal takes great pride in staying ahead of market needs by closely working with architects and end users to better understand the future demands of spectator seating.
